Observation

Materials in infant area were observed to be smaller than one and three-quarter inches. Splintered edges and protruding nails were observed accessible to children in sleeping area and were located on the chimney cover and in outdoor space near emergency exit. Infant room was observed to have a door under the kitchen cabinet that had a large opening and was accessible to children creating an entrampment hazard. Outdoor space was observed to have some holes around yard, creating tripping hazards. Indoor temperature was observed at 65 degrees degrees Fahrenheit during inspection visit. Water temperature was observed too hot at 134 degrees Fahrenheit. The supervisor observed toys in plastic bins in zip locks bags.
